Fake love.

I’m tired of people acting as if they love you. They say it yet when you reach out to them they don’t show it. The act is overrated. Every time I give someone the chance to be part of my life - they don’t fail to show me that they only care about themselves. They care to make themselves look better over caring for others that need their help.

Be conscious of what you commit to by saying you’ll be there for them when they need you. Because when that day comes and you aren’t, well I always say karma goes both ways.

So don’t regret your actions. Be kinder now. Be reliable. Be the person you said you’d be when that someone that truly needs you is struggling and cannot trust anyone but you to help them.

Some people weren’t blessed with families that can be there for them. Some just have friends that have become their family. We need people to help us get through our lowest moments in order to celebrate our highest ones. Don’t make your promises lightly. You never know how much more pain you can be causing that person.
