Valentine’s season

Love is in the air! Well that’s what they say. I can’t deny it, it’s there. Bu  it’s not because it’s Valentine’s Day and people are giving beautiful gifts to their loved ones.

I’d say it’s because I now have a partner that shares my goals and interests in life. This year has blessed me. Not just with more love but new opportunities (for another post).

Yet, even the years of being single were a blessing. I remember I would sit at a local coffee shop and people watch.  I’d see these couples, families, and friends and it made me happy to see the love they had for each other. This and my past loves really have taught me — LOVE IS INFINITE!

Being single for over three years really gave me the time to truly love myself and take care those I love to the best of the abilities. Plus, I just needed a detox from boys who would fall in love with me then do a whole 180 to tell me, “I would never leave you. You’d have to be the one to walk away.” And I’m so glad that I did!

I live my life choosing to love. That includes people that probably don’t deserve it, but I know it’s these people who may need it the most. So Valentine’s season for me, isn’t just a month nor day it’s the whole lifetime. I choose love every time. Plus, It’s the healthier choice. ;)
